Breaking Down Our Invisalign Package
For $6,100, Invisalign patients receive:
Scans
Our dentists, Dr. Will Thornton and Dr. Nathan Van der Linden, will take scans of your dental arches to aid in the fabrication of your clear aligners.
These scans will help Invisalign technicians create your custom treatment plan and map out the best way to get each tooth into its ideal position.
Aligners
Our package includes your custom Invisalign aligners that will work to gradually shift your teeth into their correct positions. Treatment takes an average of 12-18 months, but your treatment plan will depend heavily on the complexity of your case. The more severe your misalignment is, the longer your plan will take and the more aligners you'll need. If you have a complex case, your treatment may cost more.
Retainers
After completing your Invisalign treatment, we recommend wearing a retainer every night to keep your teeth in their newly aligned positions. Our package includes retainers, but you can also use your last set of aligners as a retainer. Failure to wear your retainer can result in your teeth shifting back into their original positions and requiring additional orthodontic care.
Are There Additional Charges?
Our packages are all-inclusive for the actual Invisalign treatment, but your total cost may be higher if you require preparatory care. Before you can receive clear aligners, your mouth will have to be free of decay, infection, and gum disease. Our Washington, DC, dental office has everything you'll need to create a healthy foundation for Invisalign treatment, but these services will add to your total cost.

Because Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that can ultimately help protect against decay, many dental insurances will cover a portion of it. Our front desk staff is knowledgeable about insurance and can answer any questions you have about your plan.

Our goal is to make paying for treatment as easy as possible. If you need help covering your out-of-pocket costs, we offer in-house financing. Our no-interest payment plans feature automatic monthly charges and allow patients to get the care they need while staying within budget. Simply make arrangements with our team in advance.

Thornton Dental Associates, P.C. is an Invisalign Gold Provider. To maintain this status, our practice must complete a minimum of 25 Invisalign cases every year.
